Fans, including myself, are awaiting the release of Justice League in November. Luckily though, we are finally getting at least word on what the finished product will be like. This is from none other than the Batman himself, Ben Affleck, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly:

“[…] an interesting product of two directors, both with kind of unique visions, both with really strong takes. I’ve never had that experience before making a movie. I have to say, I really love working with Zack, and I really love the stuff we’ve done with Joss.”

Ben also said that it was “a little bit unorthodox,” which definitely makes what we will see intriguing as it blends their imaginations to form this unified epic. It would be interesting to see co-directors become a trend in the future of the DC Extended Universe if this works out, so it can be ensured things go right for bringing these characters to life.

Affleck says reshoots are normal in that he’s “never worked on a movie that didn’t do reshoots.” Argo, one of the most phenomenal films starring and helmed by Affleck, went on “for a week and a half.” Regardless, Affleck thinks Justice League is really going to shape the DCEU into something truly amazing and that currently DC is “hitting their stride” and “getting it right.” There’s our glimmer of hope…and now we wait.

What do you think of Affleck’s comments? Do you feel the same way? What do you hope the film will be like? Let us know and and follow us @GeekMotivation on Twitter for more news like this.
